Duration & Appointment Timing
Please allow around 90 minutes for a full head tint, including consultation, application, processing and finish. First-time clients may require a skin test at least 48 hours before colour.
For maintenance, most clients book every 4 to 6 weeks to keep regrowth discreet. We will confirm timings that suit your hair and routine.
Aftercare & Maintenance
Wait 48 hours before your first wash to let the colour settle. Use colour-safe shampoo and conditioner, and rinse with cool to lukewarm water.
Limit heat styling or use a heat protector. Shield hair from UV and chlorine with leave-in protection when travelling or swimming.
Book root retouches every 4 to 6 weeks for consistent coverage. Refresh mids and ends every 8 to 12 weeks with a gloss or tint-through to maintain tone and shine without overloading colour.

First time at this hairdresser's as was fed up with my previous hairdresser giving me an OAP hairstyle. Left Nicolas Ablitt feeling and looking 20 years younger, the colour Nicolas used to cover my greys is so natural looking and he corrected my OAP hairstyle. A good point to note also is the fact you pay for the senior stylist and you get the whole service done by the senior stylist ( apart from the hair wash) you don't get passed to another member of staff to finish you off which I have experienced in other hairdressers which annoys me. So glad I have found my new colourist/stylist. Also I must comment on the fact as a person who has neck issues I could have happily sat at the basin for ages as it was the most comfortable experience I have had when getting my hair washed. Very happy 😁
